ABOUT THIS EVENT

Nice people and good dance music, every first Thursday at Mothership. We feature extended sets from talented local DJs who you normally only see humbly supporting headliners or in stacked weeknight lineups—letting them share their unique sound on the dance floor. This month, we're featuring Yaz. He has played all over San Francisco and beyond. He was a resident DJ at the venerated Wish Lounge for 5+ years, running his monthly Wayward party right up until the pandemic caused Wish to close. Since then, he has taken Wayward to its new home F8 Nightclub, and has been a resident there since August 2021. Yaz has collaborated with many different promoters and labels, and has shared billing with artists including John Digweed, Bob Moses, The Scumfrog, Tommy Four Seven, John Monkman, Technasia, and Marques Wyatt, to name a few. Resident Justyn Myers on warm up duties. Come dance with us!
